Methodist Service League

Since their founding in June of 1951, the Methodist Service League has raised more than $5 million for the benefit of Methodist Medical Center. 100 active and active associate members operate the hospital gift shop and flower shop with profits going to the hospital in an annual contribution to the Foundation. The Service League also conducts three workshop sessions each week during which members get together for fellowship and to produce handmade gifts and holiday items for the Service League's yearly Gift Show held just before the holidays. Throughout the year, the Service League conducts other special sales and activities. Each member makes a commitment of at least four hours per week on behalf of the hospital.

Methodist is one of the few hospitals that has its own in-house fresh and silk flower service, thanks to the volunteers of the Service League. Flowers can be ordered online at the Methodist web site and will be delivered directly to a patient room or employee.

No matter where you are, it is easy to let your hospitalized loved one know that you are thinking of them by sending a beautiful floral arrangement or plant from the Methodist Medical Center Service League Flower Shop. Service League volunteers prepare floral arrangements fresh daily from the best available plant materials. You won’t find a better value than we provide and all proceeds from the Flower Shop benefit patients and families at Methodist. You can order online through our secure service, or you can call toll-free at 855-670-3897. The Flower Shop volunteers are on site Monday through Friday from 7am until 3pm Central Time. Outside of those hours, your call will be forwarded to the Gift Shop and your order can be filled from pre-prepared arrangements. You can be assured that your flowers will be of the size and value pictured or better. If you do not see what you want from the selections pictured, just give us a call and we can prepare a custom order for you. There are links to additional selections in the upper left-hand corner of this screen. Please be advised that if you place an online order after hours or on the weekend, it is possible that your patient may be discharged before the order can be filled and delivered. We would suggest that you use the toll-free number when the Flower Shop is not open. Before your order is filled, we will confirm that your recipient is still an inpatient and able to receive flowers. If your order cannot be delivered because your patient has been discharged or because the patient is in the ICU and is not allowed to have flowers, your credit card will not be charged and we will advise you that we were not able to fill your order. The Flower Shop does not deliver outside the Methodist Hospital Campus.
